Vitalite's Plant-Based Cheesy Garlic Bread

Ingredients:

  • 1 loaf French bread, halved lengthwise
  • 1 cup vegan butter, softened to room temperature
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 6 garlic cloves, minced
  • 2 teaspoons Italian seasoning
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon pepper
  • 2 cups Vitalite™ Plant-Based Mozzarella Style Shreds
  • 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped
  • VITALITE Plant-Based Mozzarella Style Shreds


Directions:

  1. Preheat oven to 400 degrees. Slice the bread in half lengthwise and place cut sides facing up on top of a parchment lined baking sheet.
  2. In a small bowl combine softened butter, garlic powder, minced garlic, salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning.
  3. Brush the garlic mixture across the entire surface of both bread halves.
  4. Top with Vitalite™ Plant-Based Mozzarella Style Shreds.
  5. Bake in the oven for 10-12 minutes then broil for 1-2 minutes to ensure the cheese is melted and bubbly.
  6. Garnish with fresh parsley, if desired, then cut into slices and enjoy!
