Ingredients:

For the tea:

  • 3 cinnamon sticks
  • 2 stars of anise
  • 2 cups water

Boil all ingredients in a small sauce pan, then turn off heat and allow tea to steep for 30 mins. And cool, then set aside.

Coquito ingredients:

  • 2 cans coconut milk
  • 1 can cream of coconut
  • 1 can condensed milk
  • 1 can evaporated milk
  • White rum (to taste)
  • Tea

Directions:

  1. Pour all canned ingredients, white rum and tea into blender.

  2. Blend until all ingredients are combined, then pour into  bottles to chill in the refrigerator.

  3. Once chilled, serve with garnishment of ground cinnamon, a cinnamon stick and a star of anise. Enjoy!
