French Fry Sliders

Ingredients:

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • ¼ cup bread crumbs
  • 2 tbsp barbecue sauce
  • 1 egg
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • ½ tsp. pepper
  • ¼ tsp salt
  • 24 McCain® Seasoned Waffle Fries
  • 3 slices Cheddar cheese, quartered
  • 12 leaves Boston Bibb lettuce
  • 12 slices plum tomato

Directions:

  1. Preheat oven to 450˚F. Gently mix together beef, bread crumbs, barbecue sauce, egg, garlic, pepper and salt. Divide the mixture into 12 portions; shape each portion into ½ -inch thick patties. Transfer to foil-lined baking sheet. Bake for 10 to 12 minutes or until meat is no longer pink inside. Top each mini burger with cheese; return to oven for 1 or 2 minutes or until melted. Alternatively, the burgers can be grilled.
  2. Meanwhile, prepare McCain® Seasoned Waffle Fries according to package directions.
  3. Sandwich each burger with lettuce and tomato between McCain® Seasoned Waffle Fries.
  4. Serve with ketchup, mustard and relish if desired.
