Cubano Cheeseburger by Tillamook

Ingredients:

  • 4 toasted sesame seed buns, lightly toasted 
  • 2 tbsp yellow mustard
  • 2 tbsp mayonnaise 
  • 1.5 lb ground beef, molded into 4 round patties
  • 2 tsp kosher salt 
  • 4 slices Tillamook Swiss Cheese Slices
  • ¼ cup sliced dill pickles
  • 4 slices ham 

Directions:

  1. On opposite sides, spread mustard and mayonnaise over the inside of your toasted buns and set aside. 
  2. Season each side of burger patties with an even amount of salt and cook over a hot grill for 7 minutes, flipping occasionally. 
  3. Once the burger is almost completely cooked (around the five-minute mark), melt a slice of Swiss cheese over each patty and remove from heat. 
  4. Carefully stack your cooked patty, slices of ham, and pickles onto your bun and serve.
