Christmas Cocktail Countdown: Sorrel

15 more days until Christmas! We're continuing our Christmas Cocktail Countdown with a Jamaican Classic, Christmas Sorrel! Check out the recipe below!

Ingredients:

• Sorrel
• Ginger
• Lime
• Pimentos
• Sugar (Optional)
• Rum
• Mint

Directions:

1. Place sorrel in a bowl with the ginger, lime, and pimentos.
2. Heat water on stove until boiling.
3. Pour boiling water over sorrel mixture.
4. Let mixture steep in water for at least 45 minutes
5. Strain the mixture and discard the sorrel, ginger, lime, and pimentos.
6. Add sugar to sweeten (optional) and add rum to taste. Garnish with mint.
