Pizza Dogs

Cook Time: 20 minutes

Ingredients

  • ½ cup Heinz® Tomato Ketchup

  • ¼ cup finely chopped pepperoni

  • ¼ cup finely chopped green pepper

  • 1 teaspoon dried Italian seasoning blend

  • 2 tablespoons Parmesan cheese

  • 2 tubes refrigerated crescent rolls

  • 4 slices mozzarella cheese, halved on the angle

  • 8 all-beef wieners

     

Cooking Instructions

  1. Stir ketchup with the green pepper, pepperoni, Italian seasoning, and Parmesan cheese in a small saucepan
  2. Cooke, stirring often, over medium heat until bubbly and fragrant. Cool
  3. Preheat the oven to 350 F
  4. Unroll the dough and separate rectangles
  5. Spread an equal amount of sauce over each rectangle. Top with a half slice of cheese
  6. Place a wiener at the short end of the rectangle and roll in dough to enclose
  7. Transfer to a baking sheet, laying seam down
  8. Bake on the lower rack of the oven for 15 minutes or until the crust is golden and the cheese is bubbly
